Burana located about 80 km east of Bishkek in 12 km south-west of Tokmok, the tower is remains of the ancient city of Balasugun (the capital of Karahanid Khanate). This tower was used as a place to call local people to pray. In our days height of tower is 25 m, the tower was originally 45 m, but a number of earthquakes damage to the structure. Also there are collection of Balbals (stone warrior) and ancient petrogliphs (stone paintings). Balbals are dating from the 6-th century. They were found in different places of Kyrgyzstan and people decided to save them for future generation.
Morning transfer to Burana Tower X-XI cen. (72 km). Excursion to the tower, balbals and petroglyphs. Back transfer to Bishkek.
