Vladimir Komissarov has been engaged in mountaineering for more than 50 years. Vladimir is Master of Sports in mountaineering, instructor-methodologist in mountaineering of the 1st category, candidate of geological and mineralogical sciences, professor. He has more than 20 years of experience as a mountain guide in the Kyrgyz expeditions of the International School of Mountaineering (ISM) in Switzerland and mountain camps on the Tien Shan. Vladimir has climbed 10 peaks with a height of more than 7000m, has made more than other 350 ascents.
Vladimir Komissarov is author of more than 80 scientific papers and textbooks on geology, tourism and mountaineering.
He is the President of the Kyrgyz Alpine Club, Mountain Guide Association and Silk Road Tourism Association, General Director of ITMC. Vladimir lives and works in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

Vladimir has been working in tourism for 20 years, paraglider and active mountain skier. He joined to ITMC company in 2002, has good experience in active programmes and expeditions as guide. He is our permanent camp manger of Base Camp in area of Lenin peak. proper consultations for all trips as well.
