Trekking to waterfalls of Kyrgyz Range

There a lot of trekking itineraries that run through the gorges, however we would like to offer you interesting hiking across almost four thousand pass. The area is very spectacular and beautiful. Yes, it will be difficult on Ozerny pass. This part of the route requires to have trekking experience and great skill. You will experience four seasons of a year within the few days’ trek. You will leave summer in Sokoluk Gorge and meet serve winter at the altitude of four thousand. The route goes from waterfall valley to Ala-Archa gorge and further to Ak-Sai Glacier, situated at the altitude 3200m. Ala-Archa Natural Park is protected area. Forest, mountains, bright colors, white peaks – fascinating and hypnotic area.
1st Day. Bishkek – Sokuluk Gorge
Our staff will pick you up from the hotel or any other place of accommodation in Bishkek and arrange transfer from the city to Sokuluk Gorge. Driving distance is approximately 75 km. Transfer takes couple hours. Upon arrival to the start point of trek, we will set up tent camp at the altitude 2000m. Today is the day of acclimatization. We will do circular trek up to Ashu-Tor Gorge and return to the camp inlate afternoon. Overnight in Tent Camp.
2nd Day. Sokuluk Gorge – Chon-Tor valley
Trek up the Sokuluk gorge to the confluence of the Chon-Tor and Eastern Sokuluk streams. New camping site is located at the altitude 3200m. Overnight in tents.
3rd Day. Chon-Tor valley – Ala-Archa Gorge
This is the most challenging day during the programme. We have to go from the Sokuluk gorge to Ala-Archa over the Ozernyi Pass (3917m). Set up a camp at the altitude 2920m. Overnight in tents.
4th Day. Ala-Archa Gorge (Alplager)
Trek down the Ala-Archa gorge to alpine camp (2100m) which has another name Alplager. Set up your camp in the forest at the slope of the mountain. Overnight in Tent Camp.
Attention! There is a possibility to arrange accommodation in small cottages with minimum comfort at a reasonable price or at the comfortable hotel at extra charge this night.
5th Day. Alplager – Ratzek Stop
Hiking to Ratzek Stop along Ak-Sai Valley. The route to Ratzek stop is not easy. You will go through the forest up to the first steep rise and will reach mountain meadows. Then the route is not so difficult. It comes among almost flat meadows, but you will need to have some rest after, before the most difficult part of your itinerary. Path lift up along moraine very steeply. You are at Ratzek Stop after two more steep rises.
Trekking distance today is about 6.5 km takes 4-5 hours. Ratzek stop is located at the altitude 3200m. Overnight in tent.
Attention! Optionally accommodation in Ak-Sai mountain hut can be booked at extra charge.
6th Day. Ala-Archa – Bishkek
Hiking in the area of the Ak-Sai Glacier. Trek down to the Alplager – 2 hours of walking. Transfer by vehicle to Bishkek (40 km, 45 minute drive).
Group of 2 people – USD 460 per person

It is expected that tourists will cook by themselves. Cook services can be provided at extra cost.
Each porter carries 20kg of commercial weight. Any additional weight in excess of this will be charged at a rate of USD 3 per 1kg.
